A Summery Green Color

It's been another good week as far as missionary work goes! We have 4+ members that we are working with to help them progress to entering the temple and receiving their endowment. Tithing is a factor that is holding a lot of them back. We taught the Law of Tithing probably 4 times this last week! I'm grateful for my testimony of tithing and I hope they will gain one from putting their faith in God and just doing it. The blessings of the temple are worth more than ANYTHING money could by. Even the new iPhone 7. Yes, WAY more than that. WAY WAY WAYYYYY more than that. I hope ALL of you are striving to enter the temple. If you don't know how, ask the missionaries! They will help you.

We have been doing a lot of finding by tracting and contacting on the street. We found a new investigator yesterday through it and a few more potentials! It seems like every time we tract, we find at least someone who wouldn't mind if we came back again... The person we invited to be baptized last week won't answer his door anymore...but it's okay. I know we planted a seed.

We also had a lot of strong opposition this week. A lot of people strongly disagree with our beliefs. It was a great opportunity to bear my testimony and simply share what I feel is true. You know when you do too many bicep curls or lunges and you're sore two days later, but eventually your muscles grown and you get stronger. Well bearing my testimony and teaching the gospel amidst opposition honestly strengthens mine. I treasure my testimony.
My whole mission I've been warned to watch out for the magpies because they swoop down on you. It's never happened to me until this week and you guys it was the scariest moment of my life. Like people can threaten to arrest you if you don't leave their property, but getting swooped by a magpie is so much scarier! I was wearing my helmet though so nothing happened. Sister Johnson was behind me and saw it all. You should've heard her screaming! Bahahaha.
Can I tell you something. I'm grateful for Jesus Christ. I think because we hear His name so often and we learn about Him all the time in church, we lose our sense of awe, maybe? But just for a minute, sit back and actually think about what it means for you that if you repent, you can literally have your burdens lifted from you. Your sins are washed away as if they were never there. Think about that! Think about it. Because of Jesus Christ, we will all live again!! Oh, it is wonderful.
I love Him. And keep learning how to apply His Atonement more in my life.
Lots of Love,
Sister Beardall

Sometimes I do a bit of art while Sister Johnson practices her English.
