This week was fabulous. Just like every other week. ;)
Monday we had District Pday and we biked in the rain on an old railroad track that's now a trail. WE SAW A KANGAROO! Don't worry, I'll include photos. It was a BLAST. I love nature. I love The Creator.
Tuesday we had Zone Meeting and yep, we got a new daily schedule. It's not super duper different, but I have noticed a difference in how I feel. We plan ahead (for the next day) in the morning, and we already have our plan for that day. It's nice. We can go to bed earlier b/c we don't plan for the next day at night anymore. Raise your hand if sleep is your #1 hobby?!?
We've done lots of tracting again this week. We met so many young families and found heaps of potentials. None of them are investigators yet, though. A lot of the people we met had never met missionaries before!! It's a pleasure being the first. ;)
It was so cool to think that even though they might not be ready to investigate at the moment, we are planting seeds, we are getting them familiar with the church and we are hopefully giving them a good impression of who we are and what we believe. It is so fun.
We have met lots of people as well who know 'Mormons', and I've realized how important it is to be a good example, and to let people you associate with know what you believe! Little do these Mormons know, we would tract into them years later, and their example has influenced their life.
Two of our investigators can be put on date next lesson, we know it. It's just getting that next lesson. They are so busy with work. It's hard!! We don't want to nag, but we also want to see them ASAP! They are a young couple in their mid 20's and they are searching for the truth. It's very refreshing. They are Kiwi's (meaning they are from New Zealand). That accent, though. It's my favorite. We had great lesson with them and we invited them to read the Book of Mormon and yes, to be baptized when they know it's true. #heartpoundingmoments In a round about way, they both said yes!

Get this: Before we went to their house, we stopped by the chapel to get some bread at the weekly Bread Night (they pick up free day-old bread from the local bakery and bring it to the church to give away!) We thought we should offer them some loaves of bread. 10 minutes before we rocked up to their house, she had just gotten home from grocery shopping where SHE FORGOT THE BREAD! Matthew 16: 5-12 Is that a miracle or what? #bellevuebakerynowopen #thebreadoflife #eternallife
She noticed that was a blessing from God. She also told us they love it when we come because they notice a different, nice feeling in their home. #thatsthespirit
I love Sister Johnson with all my heart. She has changed my life. I don't think she will ever understand. She goes home in 3 weeks. :'(
I am happy. I love Australia. I love my Savior, Jesus Christ.
Love,
Sister Beardall
We went in that tunnel. It reminded me of the new Mormon message, Choose the Light. |
