LDS - Let's Do Something

Hope you all enjoyed Thanksgiving!! To be honest I didn't even think about the holiday until some Australian mentioned it to me! No turkey for me... But it's okay! I think we got ice cream and KFC instead. KFC is a delicacy here... Bahaha. It's true. Don't worry, I don't eat out very much. ;)

I love to find things I thankful for every single day. God has blessed me so much in my life and I will never be able to repay Him. It's okay though, He doesn't want to be repaid. He just wants to be obeyed.

A couple days ago, we were visiting a member in our ward named Sarah. She is from Africa and has suffered from a stroke. She is a strong woman. Her son lives with her and as we were visiting, his little daughter came with her mom to stay the weekend with Sarah. We began talking to the mom and she has a desire to involve God in her life. She is tired of doing it alone. I'm excited to help her find the peace God brings! We ALL need it.

On Sunday during the last two hours we watched a video from Church Headquarters about Teaching in the Savior's Way. Have you guys watched it?? Are you implementing this program in your wards? IT IS SO GOOD!! Watching the video helped me receive personal revelation on how I can improve as a teacher of Christ's Gospel. I know I will be teaching others (my family, friends, other members, and non members) for the rest of my life, so I'm grateful for all the experience I'm getting on my mission. There is always so much to learn and so many amazing tools God has given and continues to give us! Gospel Library App, here I come!!!

I love being a missionary. I love Sister Johnson. She is a weirdo and such a sweetheart at the same time. I continue to scare her every day. On purpose. It is hilarious.
We continue to bear our testimonies and to ask, seek, and knock and knock and knock. And knock. I have faith Heavenly Father is preparing His children behind these fly screens. I know He is.

Are you excited for Christmas!??!! You should all do this:

What a great thing to be a part of.

Love you!
Sister Beardall

One of my favourite quotes.

What are you grateful for?

In the bush... oooo! Got 'em!

She's too short for that thing in the car that blocks the sun to work, so I helped her out.
