Your Dad Looks Like President Uchtdorf

Hello my family,

We had a District Blitz in our area this week. The elders tracted with us for about 2 1/2 hours. We found some potentials and they did as well! We met an Itallian shoemaker named Bill Geracitano (he's probably related to Nick Geracitano in the Dianella ward (my last area) who owns Benara Fresh!) He said there was something different about us compared to the other religious people that seem to come around.
We began teaching an 87 year old man this week too. A member invited us over to teach him! He has so many good questions, and you can tell he is thinking deeply about everything we are teaching him. It's so great to share my testimony.
We were also trying to find a LA by memory. We went down the wrong street and we came across a house that looked so similar to the LA's. It wasn't hers, but we decided to knock anyway. We ended up meeting a woman named Terry. She's in her mid-late 30's. She's married. Doesn't have any kids. Works fly in fly out. She has never been to a church and doesn't have a religion, but yet she believes in God! She said she finds herself to be a spiritual person. We told her who we were and what we do and she said, "Wow, that's interesting!" She seems so keen! She doesn't want to rush into things but she is interested in learning more. :) She already looks like a Mormon...
I've also been praying that the LA we were looking for's husband would have a softened heart and want to learn with us. He isn't a member. Yet. We visited them yesterday, and he came in a few minutes after we sat down and sat down with us!! We ended up teaching him about repentance and baptism and prayer. We invited him to pray and he did! He told Heavenly Father he was thankful for the weather, and asked him to send more good weather. ;)
Good things are happening.

So, the vision I've talked about in the past that the Lord gave to President Fife, where in this mission "it won't be uncommon for every companionship to have at least 20 or more baptisms every month" is what we call 'The Summit'. We have reached base camp - exact obedience in the mission as a minimum standard. (This mission used to be pretty dodgy...). Now we are moving up the mountain to Camp 1.
We have been given new standards and goals to reach and although it seems difficult, I have so much faith in Heavenly Father and His promises. I know He will hasten His work here with power! I'm grateful for the Atonement of Jesus Christ which enables change and growth.
I'm grateful for President and Sister Fife. I must have done something right in Pre-Earth life to deserve them.... ;)

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED GENERAL CONFERENCE!!! It was like Christmas Day for me. I seriously loved every talk! They all applied to me in my shpere! A member in our ward made General Conference Journals for the missionaries in my ward. They were spiral bound. It had all the talks layouted (is that even a word?) so that we could right notes and highlight them as we went along! It was so cool. So nice of her to do that.

I am happy. I love being a missionary. I'm so blessed.
Love,
Sister Beardall

It was a lucky day.
We will go far.

Someone find out what these are called!
This was on someone's porch when we were tracting. They were home but they didn't answer, so we stuck a pass along card in the frame with our details and we wrote that we loved their picture.
A potential investigator, Bill, the Italian shoemaker. Tracting can sometimes be fun!
