Washing Machines

This week was so good. Sister Sinaga made her specialty fried rice, we found some new investigators, I found my new favourite hot chocolate in the pantry and I've been having it every morning, and someone gave us a free vacuum and washing machine. We've asked our neighbours if it's theirs and called the housing coordinators for the mission but no one seems to know...

We had another lesson with Roji this week. She also came along to a Relief Society luncheon and invited some ladies over to her house Sunday evening for a get together. She is really happy that God has lead her to some good friends just like she was asking for. Little does she know God has more to give her than just some good friends, namely eternal life.

We had a lesson with a new investigator named Karen. She also lost her husband and is very angry at God, the hospital, her family. She says 6 months ago she wouldn't have let us come back, but she feels God might have something for her that she needs, so she is willing to hear what we have to say.

At our Zone meeting on Tuesday, the AP's gave us all a copy of the Stop-Smoking program. They want us to use it as a tool to find.
We made an announcement in Relief Society that we would love to teach the people they know who smoke to stop smoking. We actually got a few people! This aughtta be interesting.

We have a few returning members/recent converts who are going to the temple prep class! We are excited to see them progress life. That is what this is all about. Going to the temple should be everyone's goal. There we make covenants with God and as we keep our covenants, we are promised eternal life! What greater gift is there?? There is none.

Love ya!

She wishes she was Aussie. (Just kidding, that's actually the furthest from the truth.)
Summit Reality

n Zone Meeting, we were told that the vision Heavenly Father gave to President Fife for this mission that "It will not be uncommon for every companionship in the mission to baptize 20 people every month" is now called the "Summit". It's a lot less words to say and we all get the idea. ;) After the meeting, I saw this company and their for sale signs everywhere and it kinda hit me because this "Summit" is a reality. It's a reality if we believe, if we diligently work, and as we worthily plead for miracles. One person at a time.
