Let Us All Press On

Do you have a favourite hymn? I have gained a few on my mission, 'Let Us all Press On', being one of them. It's a good one to sing when you're biking and you think the world hates you.
I also really love Be Still My Soul and O My Father. Anyway...
Things are good here in Waikiki. I've named my index finger 'Ant Slayer'. There are SO many ants in our flat!!!! They don't die. I am constantly finding more and more and I spray and slay. I give up. No I don't. I never give up. But yeah, they are gross. I went to get some really yum crackers from the pantry the other day and I grabbed a bunch and put them in my mouth, then I looked in the box and there were ants EVERYWHERE!!
So yep, I've added "Eat ants." to my list of 'Things I Didn't Think I'd Do On My Mission'.

We were teaching a lady named Yolanda a few weeks ago. She was really nice to us. She let us in and gave us some delicious carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and rich hot chocolate. We were all thinking, wow. This woman loves us! She is golden!! Then she proceeded to pull out her two pages of notes with her 'red flags' towards the Book of Mormon. She just wanted to argue and disprove us. So yeah, It was really awkward. We were like, "The book of Mormon is true. It has changed my life. And so has your carrot cake. It's so good! Thank you so much!" Nah, she's a good lady, just needs a bit of humility. It was really funny.

Mavis came to the Family History center this morning!! Yay!! She is the cutest lady ever. I love her. Pray that her ancestors on the other side of the veil will touch her heart to be curious about why we even do Family History!

I was reading in Alma about Helaman's 2000 strippling sons. They had such great courage, faith, hope and strength. I love that those 2000 boys remembred their mom. Their moms loved those boys and they loved their mom. The thing their mom taught them was that God would deliver them if they did not doubt.

God would deliver them if they did not doubt. Wow.

Go to verse 56: "But behold to my great joy, there had not one should of them fallen to the earth."

Those boys didn't doubt. They had full 100% faith in God. And guess what? God delivered them.
The promise is the same with you and me. What is it in our lives that we can put 100% faith in God, rather than doubt. Identify it and do it.

Funny Moments:
Sister Grace sent an awkward moment text to us saying she was feeling over confident in a lesson and accidentally said, "Jesus Christ was baptized by John the Baptism." Haha! Sis. Sinaga replied, "Did she mean to say, 'John the Baptize?' Bahahahaha!!

We were doing some service for someone. She asked us to scrub all the marks off her walls because she was moving. While we were cleaning, Sister Sinaga started saying, "Whip it! Whip it!" Sister Mortensen and I looked at her like, What the? She meant to say, "Wipe it! Wipe it!"

I almost ran into a lady on her bike when we were riding around a corner and it scared me to death! Sis. Sinaga was behind me and started busting up laughing! She said, "How you not see her? She's so purple!!" Bahahaha! She was wearing purple...

Here are some quotes towards me from Sister M:
"Your face looks like a 4 year old today."
Do you want some cheese with that whine?" Bahahahaha! Idk why I've never heard that one before!! So good.
"She's back."
"Are you this weird with all your companions?"
"You can tell you have younger siblings."

Man, we have a good time, the three of us...

I hope you all can find something every single day to rejoice about. Like it says somewhere in the scriptures (I can't remember where), Cheerfully and with patience, live this gospel.

Love yous.
Sister Beardall

We have to wear our helmets like this now.... nah jokes.

The crew.

Baby, it's cold outside.

These were at someone's house. Because of your prayers of safety, they didn't answer the door. Thank you.
