I hope
I can be a leader people look up to. I will always be true to the
faith. I will live up to my full potential. I am a daughter of God.
Think of it. And you are too, a son or daughter of God!!
I am so grateful God has given us a prophet and leaders to guide us. We are never alone on this joyful journey. I'm grateful.
You know you're famous when people wave and honk at you on the streets
and when you call to reserve computers and all the librarians know you
by name just by saying, "Hello! I'd like to reserve two computers for 10 o'clock."
Haha! The lady says, "Okay, McKayla (she insists on calling me by my
first name...) let's see here..." Haha! I don't even need to tell her my
name. She can tell by my voice.
The work is progressing here in High Wycombe. We are going to invite Gemma and Steve to be baptized tonight. We are focusing all our efforts this week. We are expecting miracles. We know God is just waiting on us. It's just us.
We
taught someone named Jen this week. The spirit was strong in the
lesson. I look at her and see a Mormon. Honest. She is basically already
a mormon. She is so kind. She dresses modestly. She speaks cleanly. She
desires to know God. And she is so interested in learning about the
church and is concerned how she can best involve her family in it. Pray
for her.
I absolutely LOVED general
conference!! I was vigorously taking notes the whole time and I would
put a start next to the name of the person if I really liked the talk.
At the end of general conference, I looked back at my notes and I had
stars next to almost EVERY talk!!! They are now downloaded on my USB and
we listen to them in the car!
Ask yourself this question:
What evidence is there that I have shown my family that I love them today?
What evidence is there that I have shown Heavenly Father that I love Him today?
I love you. I love my family. I love my Father in Heaven.
Love,
Sister Beardall
