I've Got Sunshine On A Cloudy Day...

G'day my friends and familia.

Thank you for praying for miracles this week. Man, did we receive them. This week was full of miracles and we could really see the hand of God working in our lives and in other's lives too!
New investigators, tons of potential investigators, receptive people...it's all a missionary could ask for!

We visited the third cutest family I've probably ever seen this week. They have three little kids with the most gorgeous eyes and cheeks! They were 5, 3, and 8 months. Gah! I'm crying just thinking about how cute they were! They took us outside and showed us their backflips on the tramp. Nothing cuter than seeing a 3 year old do a back flip! Haha!
When teaching them about miracles, we asked the 3 year old what a miracle would be for him and he excitedly said, "To see the roof!" That would be a great miracle! Hahaha! Then we asked what things do we need to make our miracles happen? And he said, "A ladder!" I don't know about you but that 3 year old just came up with the greatest analogy: In order to see the roof, you need a ladder (and I would add you need to climb the ladder). Likewise, in order to see a miracle, you need faith like it says in 2 Nephy 27:23 (and I would add, you need works to go along w/ your faith.)

The scripture I chose to ponderize last week was James 2:26 "For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also."

I have a favor to ask: Can all of you reading this letter right now send me a scripture reference you might be "ponderizing" or just one you love, and tell me anything you've learned or how it has influenced your life? I love spiritual uplifts, so send them my way!

My companion sticks notes all around in my hymn book, notebooks, Book of Mormon, Ensign, kleenex box, wall etc. She is a very thoughtful person.

Beautiful birds here in WA.

I'm getting lots of sun. I have all these weird tan lines. The tops of my hands are tan, but not my fingers b/c they are curled around my bike handlebars. Haha! I love the sunshine!
This is what the Speed Limit signs look like! Pretty cool, aye?

Night riding...with a kangaroo crossing sign. Still haven't seen one. But I WILL.
I got a pic of a green parrot!!

We made a goal to ask everyone for referrals. Like everyone we talked to. If we did that day then we could eat a candy bar (yes we have loads of chocolate in our home...it's bad.) If we didn't, then we would have to do 10 push ups at the end of the day. I'll just say my arms are huge. You decide from what... haha. JK. This only lasted a week. We ended up just eating our candy bars anyway. They make them from Cadbury chocolate! So good!

I gave a talk at a baptism on Saturday on Repentance and Baptism! I'm afraid there will be many of these to come!

Have a great week!
Love,
Sister Beardall
