Pilate's Wife

Dear Everyone,
How are all of you??
During Christmas we gave a Book of Mormon wrapped up as a present to a member in our ward. We invited her to give it to someone who needs the gospel in their life. She referred us to her friend and we've been over to visit her. She knows a lot about our faith. Our job will be getting that knowledge from her head to her heart. We had a really great discussion with her and her son. They are such wonderful people. The work is different if you strive to love those you teach.

I really feel like Heavenly Father has been helping me realize the need for more sincere personal prayers. There is a big difference between saying and pleading. The latter works miracles and changes you. Someone once said prayer is your passport to heaven and it is so true. If you don't connect with Heavenly Father, you'll wonder why you feel so disconnected. James 1:5-6

There's a good song we listen to in the car by The Nashville Tribute Band called Pilate's Wife. She says something like, "I don't know, who He is, but I know what I feel. Let Him go, can't you see. What is this dream, Pontius please. Let Him be."
I, on the other hand, do know who He is. But I want to really know Him. I thank Heavenly Father for every new day He gives me and for the chances to know Him better. He knows us perfectly. Let us know Him.

Have a lovely week.
Love,
Sister Beardall
