Happy Merry New Year Christmas!!!!

Hi everybody!!!

I don't know about you, but I am feeling good. We've got enough chocolate in our fridge to last us 'till April, I've got the joy of Christ in my heart, I've got a resolution written down on a piece of paper and we have some progressing investigators.

You know when you go camping and you come home all dirty and smelly? Or when you come home from tracting in 38 degree Celsius weather and you feel sticky from sweat and sunscreen? Imagine if you had to live feeling like that forever. Sometimes we put off taking a shower...we want to eat first, or take a nap, or watch tv or, or, or... JUST TAKE A SHOWER OKAI????

Well during these last few weeks I've felt cleansed, sanctified and renewed because of Jesus Christ. It feels so good. Just like in our new year resolutions, if we aren't completely committed to Christ, we start to make excuses. Commit yourself to Christ. And He will change your life.

Belinda, our investigator made me cry happy tears inside this week. She told us that she wanted to come to church with us again (she came for Christmas with her daughter!) and she told us that she likes reading the Book of Mormon more than the bible! Yay!! Not that the Bible isn't good, because it is; it's the word of God and it is sacred and holy, but when you have someone who wants to read the Book of Mormon, you can't help yourself from running in circle shouting for joy. At least I can't.

We met a Samoan family tracting. They invited us in and we turned the corner and guess what? Yep, you guessed it. They were eating KFC! Bahaha. Just like all loving Samoan people do, they said, "Sit down Sistas. Eat!" Long story short, they want us to come back to teach them more about the Restoration and the Book of Mormon!

Life is good. Hard sometimes, but good. My good friend Gordon B. Hinckley once said, "Anyone who imagines that bliss is normal is going to waste a lot of time running around shouting that he's been robbed. The fact is that most putts don't drop, most beef is tough, most children grow up just to be people, most successful marriages require a high degree of mutual toleration, most jobs are more often dull than otherwise...The trick is to thank the Lord for letting you have the ride."

I love you all!
Love,
Your sister... Sista B
