Where'd the Sheep Go?

Hello everyone,
It's been another great week on the mission! I'm grateful for the many new people we have been able to meet this week.
A few weeks ago, we were following up on a member on our ward list to see if they still lived there. (There are 800 people on our ward list, but only about 200 are actually living in our boundaries. Where are the other 600? No idea. We are currently working with the Bishop to cut that number down 400. You could call us the Shepherds-finding the lost sheep.) Anyway as we were on that street, we saw all these dads picking their kids up from school and dads pushing babies in strollers and talking to their neighbors in their yards with their kids playing out front.
I had a feeling, this place is a jackpot. It's not super common that you see a husband, wife, and kids with a car and a job (We just assumed they have jobs by the look of their flash cars.) There are a lot of families that have the miracle of eternity waiting for them! Sister Gao and I have to get moving and let them all know! I pray that they will have humble hearts.

We visited a less active woman and her active husband the other day. It's a 50 minute bike ride to their house. She welcomed us in and fed us healthy muffins and Milo! It was a great lesson. Our ward mission leader, Brother Jones was freaking out when we told him. He said it was an absolute miracle that she let us in and welcomed us so warmly. She has had a stubborn past. We could tell that her heart was softened and we helped her recall her conversion and taught them about the Atonement of Jesus Christ.

Quote of the week: "A warm smile is the universal language of kindness."

Keep Smiling!!!

Shout out to my big little bro Brayden. He's turning 18 on the 31st so give him lots of kisses!!! (On the cheek, please.)

Have a wonderful week.
Love,
Sister Beardall
real passionfruit!!

A good reminder every morning.
I just might send one every week. Don't be mad.

Dianella District. Every Saturday we go into the city as a district and tell people we have a message of purpose and hope and we also sometimes tell them they are a child of God. Pretty fun.
